Is it that the history is repeating???

What happens when there is corruption in a country??
— The inflation continously increases
— There is threat to the security of the nation
— More Black money
— More black marketing
— Poverty increases
— Trust on the government decreases..

Ok.. why am i putting it here??? there is a small true story of the fall of Nanda dynasty by Chandragupta Maurya.. which goes like this ..

The kingdom of Magadha was ruled by King Dhana Nanda. Magadha was plagued by corruption. There was poverty and people had to even pay taxes for using wood which was used in the cremation. There was distrust everywhere and the common man was not satisfied. It was this time when Chanakya encouraged Chandragupta Maurya and his army to take over the throne of Magadha. Using his intelligence network, Chandragupta gathered many young men from across Magadha and other provinces, men upset over the corrupt and oppressive rule of king Dhana Nanda. Preparing to invade Pataliputra, Maurya hatched a plan. A battle was announced and the Magadhan army was drawn from the city to a distant battlefield to engage Maurya’s forces. Maurya’s general and spies meanwhile bribed the corrupt general of Nanda. He also managed to create an atmosphere of civil war in the kingdom, which culminated in the death of the heir to the throne.

Ok..Dont you think, the case is quite similar to India today. There is corruption everywhere, coupled by Terrorist Attacks.. Is it that the history is repeating???
